The Last Word
'A celebration of life, love and the enduring power of memory.' - Canal Street Online
Join Ellie in an interactive performance with red wine and very poor bedside manner as they rehearse every potential “final” conversation they could have with their grandfather. If you like Friday nights in the pub, poetry readings, and family Christmas dinners, this is the show for you. Audiences will leave feeling a bit weepy, wanting to explore their family's attic, and call their grandparents (if they're still alive) as Ellie asks: how much can you really avoid grief before it happens?
Audience responses:
“A joyful exploration of grief”
“fearless”
“charming”
“wonderfully imaginative”
“nostalgic, bittersweet, tender”.
Developed with support from the Cultivate! Artist residency.
Failed Artist Society
Meet Vincent Van Gosh, Luke Warm and Deadgar Allan Poe- three artists who cannot fathom why they are not succeeding.
Three Drag Kings take to the floor to show off their unabashed talent and artistic prowess! But they also want to share their gifts with the world. Vinny Van Gosh (part time artist, full time work of art) will paint your portrait worthy of hanging in the Louvre (right next to Mona). Deadgar will pen you a poem with his trusty raven - although he's certainly not the chatty type. Mr Warm (he's famous, promise) will take you through his stretch routine to be prima ballerina.
This is a 30 minute looping piece comprised of a choreographed lip sync performance, followed by an installation-style series of audience interactions, where audience members are gifted personalised poetry, portraiture and pliés.
First commissioned as part of håb/Word of Warning and Z Arts 'Haphazard' 2024.
Deck of Many Aces - Live
'Deck of Many Aces' is an actual-play DND podcast made of actual asexuals and aromantics.
The podcast follows four adventurers facing an existential threat: time is very wrong in this world, and it seems to be up to them to solve it. For fans of Doctor Who, Midst and The Adventure Zone, Deck of Many Aces is a project with nearly five years worth of episodes, art and an original soundtrack.
Following the success of our live show at DragonMeet, we are really excited by the idea of performing live again. Whether it's D&D or another system, the cast* would love to perform at your event, con or show! We all are open to guesting on podcasts, streams or audio dramas as well. If you'd like any of the cast as a guest on your show, please get in contact via the button below.
*Due to the casts various commitments outside of the podcast, we cannot guarantee full attendance. However, we try to make sure at least 2 of us attend any convention, or 3 for a performance.

My Friend Orson Welles - Sandwich Club Productions

John is an aspiring young screenwriter living in Leeds. We watch as he battles with his social anxieties surrounding his disability. At the same time he discovers his true feelings for his childhood friend, Becky, all under the sardonic tutelage of the imaginary Orson Welles.
'My Friend Orson Welles' was a disabled-led project with a 50% disabled cast and crew. As First AD, I coordinated the shoots and communicated with director Sam to bring his vision to life.
